Event & Party Rentals in Ottawa: Chairs, Tables & Decor

What We Create
The pieces that make the setup.
Sparkle Events rents event furniture and decor across Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester and Gatineau from a studio at 99 Ralph Erfle Wy in Nepean: peacock chairs and a curved statement couch, round, picnic, swing and three-tier tables, a sweet cart, marquee numbers, lit letters and flower arches. These are statement pieces, not banquet stock, so we rent the table your cake sits on rather than the twenty your guests eat at. Everything is delivered, set up before guests arrive and collected afterwards.
A growing inventory of decor and furniture rentals, seating, dessert and cake tables, marquee numbers, arches, specialty chairs, and more, delivered and set up so you are not hauling anything yourself.

Delivered & Set Up
We deliver, set up in place, and collect
The warehouse rental firms make you pick up and assemble everything yourself. We deliver each piece, set it up where it belongs, and come back to collect it, so you are not fitting a peacock chair into a sedan or working out how a backdrop frame assembles at eight in the morning. Tell us the venue access and the load-in window, and we plan the logistics around them.
Event Rentals Ottawa
The pieces a photograph gets built around
Statement seating
A peacock chair or a curved statement couch, for the seat everybody is photographed in: the couple, the guest of honour, the person opening gifts. Two pieces rather than a warehouse, chosen because they carry a frame on their own. If you need a hundred chairs for guests, that is a different rental and a different supplier, and we will say so rather than quote you something that will not arrive.
Tables that are furniture
Round and three-tier cake tables, a swing table, a picnic table and a sweet cart. These hold the dessert, the cake and the favours, which is where people stand and where the photographs happen. They are display pieces, not banquet stock: they replace the trestle-and-cloth in the corner of the room, not the tables your guests eat at.
Marquee numbers and lit letters
Numbers and letters tall enough to read from the back of a hall, lit rather than printed. These are what an age, an anniversary or a name looks like when it has to survive being photographed from thirty feet away. Availability is by date and the popular numbers go early in graduation and milestone season.
Arches, backdrops and the frame around them
Heart flower arches, fluted curved backdrops and draped head-table panels, all free-standing. Nothing is fastened to a venue wall, which is what makes them bookable at venues that ban tape and tacks. Delivered, installed before guests arrive, and collected afterwards, so nobody in your family is loading a van at midnight.
What's actually in the rental inventory?
Our rental collection is decor-led rather than a warehouse of folding tables. It includes lounge seating and specialty chairs, dessert and cake tables, marquee numbers and letters, arches and backdrop frames, a sweet cart, and statement pieces like an LED butterfly and a bouncy castle for the younger guests. Pieces are chosen because they anchor a room and photograph well, not because they fill a truck.
Is delivery, setup and pickup included with rentals?
Rentals are delivered, set up in place, and collected afterward. You are not fitting a peacock chair into a sedan or working out how a backdrop frame assembles at eight in the morning. Tell us the venue and the access details, stairs or elevator, loading door, and the time window you have been given, and we plan the logistics around them.
Can you rent a few pieces, or does it have to be the whole look?
You can rent individual pieces if you are styling the event yourself, or have us design and install a full setup built around them. Most clients land somewhere in between: a few rental anchors plus balloons or florals to tie everything together. We will also tell you honestly which pieces earn their place in your particular space and which are not worth the spend.
When are you not the right fit for a rental booking?
We are a decor rental company, not a bulk banquet supplier. If you need a hundred matching folding chairs and long banquet tables for a large sit-down dinner, a general party rental company will serve you better and cost you less, and we will say so rather than take the booking. What we are good at is the pieces guests actually notice and photograph.

Good To Know
Event Rentals questions
Do you rent Christmas decor in Ottawa?
Yes, and the season is shorter than people plan for. Most of the work lands in a four week window from late November, so the pieces and the install dates both go early, and a first week of December booking made in November is often already competing with itself. Corporate spaces book first because they need the decor up before a party date that is already in everyone's calendar. The rental covers delivery, install and the teardown afterwards, and teardown is the part worth agreeing in writing: a lobby that has to be clear before the building reopens in January is a fixed deadline, not a preference. Send the space and your date and we will tell you what is still available for it.
Do you rent a bouncy castle in Ottawa?
Yes. The bouncy castle is part of the rental inventory and arrives delivered and set up, not left at the door. Two things decide whether it works at your address: a power outlet within reach of the blower, and flat ground with enough clearance around it, which rules out a sloped yard more often than people expect. Send a photo of the space with your date and we will tell you before you book.
Do you deliver and set up, or do I pick items up?
We deliver, set up in place, and come back to collect. These are decor pieces like specialty seating, arches, and marquee numbers, not things you want to transport and assemble yourself. Send us the venue details including access and the load-in window, and we plan the logistics around them.
Can I rent just a few pieces without booking full decor?
Yes. Plenty of clients handle their own styling and simply want a couple of statement rentals, a cake table, marquee numbers, or specialty chairs, delivered and set up. There is no requirement to book design services in order to rent from us.
Do you rent tables and chairs?
We rent decor-led seating and tables: lounge seating, specialty and peacock chairs, and dessert or cake tables. We are not a bulk banquet supplier, so if you need a hundred matching folding chairs and long banquet tables for a large sit-down dinner, a general party rental company is the better and cheaper fit, and we will tell you that.
How early should I reserve rentals?
As early as you can for peak dates. Most statement pieces are one of a kind in our inventory, so once a piece is booked for a date it is genuinely gone. Summer weekends, the December holiday stretch, and graduation season fill first.
