Two shapes under one name
The name says round, and one of the catalogue photos is exactly that: a circular gold-framed table with a smaller raised round tier above it, so a cake sits high and the desserts fan out below. The other photo shows the same frame and top run out into a long serpentine curve built from two mirrored halves. They suit different rooms. The round one anchors a corner or the centre of a floor; the curved run works along a wall and holds far more.
Why an open gold frame changes the styling
The frame is open metal rather than a draped or boxed base, so the floor underneath stays visible and becomes part of the look. In the catalogue photos that space is filled with a ring of flowers laid on the ground beneath the table, which is only possible because you can see through it. If you would rather hide the underside, this is the wrong table and we will point you at the three-tier one instead.
