Events We Create

Every Celebration. Beautifully Planned.

Sparkle Events are event decorators in Ottawa: backdrops, event decor and table styling, helium balloons in Ottawa and event rentals in Ottawa, designed and installed as one job rather than three. We are also wedding decorators in Ottawa, and the same studio works as event planners and party planners in Ottawa when you want the day run and not only decorated. Weddings, corporate events, birthdays and cultural celebrations, from the ceremony arch to the last favour on the table.

Such an AMAZING decor person. She's so talented and will guarantee you the best party accessories you've ever seen. She's also super kind and very flexible, loved working with her and totally recommend for any type of party! We had a bridal shower look at the stunning pics .

Decor, Rentals & Favours

One vendor for the whole celebration

Most Ottawa celebrations need three suppliers: someone for the decor, someone for the furniture, and someone for the guest favours. Sparkle Events is all three. We style the room, rent you the tables, chairs, arches and marquee numbers, and hand-make the favours your guests take home, on one quote and one delivery. Rentals start at $30.00 and favours at $4.50, so a full setup stays within reach of a real budget.

Our Planning Journey

From First Idea to Final Teardown

Decorator, planner, organiser: people search for all three and mean different jobs by them. Hire us as an event decorator or a party decorator and the job is the look itself, the arch, the backdrop, the dessert table, finished before the first guest walks in. Plenty of bookings here are exactly that and nothing more. Hire us to plan and we take the timeline, the venue’s load-in and teardown windows and the other vendors as well. Say which half you want and the quote is scoped to it.

Published prices

What event decor costs in Ottawa

Nobody in this market publishes a number, so here is ours. Individual pieces carry real prices and can be booked on their own, with no styling package around them.

Published prices for individual Sparkle Events pieces, read from the product pages on 27 August 2026
PiecePublished price
Rental pieces, from$30
Rattan peacock chair$50
Marquee numbers, from$80
Sweet cart$130
Three-tier table$130
Round cake table$150
GRAD letters$300
Custom favours, per item from$4.50

A hundred-guest favour total is arithmetic you can do before you contact anybody, which is the point of publishing the per-item price.

Full styling is quoted per event, and that is a deliberate choice instead of a dodge. A christening in a front room and a wedding in a hall are not the same job, and one headline price would be a fiction that protects us and tells you nothing. Itemised quoting means you see what the arch costs, what the head table costs, what centrepieces cost per table, and what lighting or draping adds on top. You can change one line without reopening the whole quote.

How it works

Delivered, installed, and taken down the same night

The studio is at 99 Ralph Erfle Wy, Nepean and everything travels from there. We deliver, we install before your guests arrive, and we come back for the teardown at whatever time your venue gives us. Nothing in the rental collection is a self-collect item, because most of these pieces need two people and a van, and a statement chair arriving damaged in the back of a car is nobody’s idea of a saving.

Three answers size a quote faster than a colour palette does.

The room
Ceiling height at the wall you want dressed decides an arch against a flat panel.
The route
The width of the narrowest door between the kerb and the room, and how many stairs are on it.
The window
How long you have before doors open and after the last guest leaves. A rented hall usually sets that window for you and it is usually shorter than people expect.

Nothing we build is screwed, hooked, nailed or taped to a wall. Every frame, arch and balloon wall stands on its own weighted base, which is what makes a century house, a community centre and a marquee the same job with different measurements. See every area we cover.

Before you enquire

Six questions we are asked most

Are you event planners or event decorators?
Both, and the difference is worth knowing before you hire either. A decorator is responsible for how the room looks. A planner is responsible for whether the day runs, which is usually a different company and a second conversation. Most planners in this city coordinate a decorator. We are the decorator, so when we plan a day there is no handover in the middle of it, which is the seam things usually go wrong at. You can also book us for only the decor and keep the planning yourself. Say which you want and we will quote that, not the larger package.
How much does event decor cost in Ottawa?
Individual pieces have published prices and can be booked on their own: rentals from $30, marquee numbers from $80, a sweet cart at $130, GRAD letters at $300, and custom favours per item from $4.50. Full styling is quoted per event, because a christening in a front room and a wedding in a hall are not the same job. You get an itemised quote showing the arch, the head table, the centrepieces per table and anything lighting or draping adds, so one line can change without reopening all of it.
Do you deliver and set up, or do I collect it myself?
We deliver it, set it up before your guests arrive, and come back to collect it afterwards. Nothing in the rental collection is self-collect. Delivery is quoted with the piece instead of appearing at the end, and the teardown time is agreed with your venue before the day, because on a rented room that window is usually the thing that decides what is achievable.
Which areas around Ottawa do you cover?
Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester, Nepean, Stittsville and Gatineau, from the studio at 99 Ralph Erfle Wy in Nepean, and there are pages for most of them with the local detail on each. Addresses further out are usually still possible and get quoted on the drive instead of refused. Send the venue with your date and we will confirm before you book.
Do you do birthdays, or is it mostly weddings?
Birthdays are a large part of the work and they are not a smaller version of a wedding. The thing to settle first is the room instead of the theme: a rented party room usually bans anything fastened to a wall and gives you a hard finish time, a basement has all the time in the world and a ceiling too low for an arch, and a hall gives you height and punishes anything under-scaled. Send a photo of the space with your date and we will tell you which ideas fit it.
How far ahead should I book?
Popular weekends go first and a lot of these pieces are one of a kind instead of stocked in multiples, so a date is either free or it is not. A week or two is comfortable for most dates and peak Saturdays fill well before that. Ask anyway if your date is soon. We will tell you what is still available instead of holding you while we check.
