The open centre is the point
A solid floral wall puts your couple in front of the flowers. An open heart puts them inside it, and it lets whatever is behind stay in the shot. The catalogue photos use that deliberately: the red heart is set against a wall of windows over a city skyline, and the white one on a rooftop at dusk with the buildings visible through the middle. If your venue has a view, this is the piece that keeps it.
Red or white is a lighting decision as much as a taste one
Red roses hold their shape and colour under bright daylight and read as a strong graphic block. White and ivory do more with low, warm light and dusk, and they pick up whatever colour you throw at them, which means uplighting actually changes them. Tell us the time of day and whether the room will be lit warm, and we will tell you which of the two will look like the photo you have in your head.
Ceiling height, and getting it in the door
This is the tallest thing we carry and our catalogue does not record its height, so ask before you commit to a low-ceilinged basement room. What we need from you is the venue access: door widths, whether it is stairs or an elevator, the loading door, and the load-in window you have been given.
