Henna, Aqiqah & Baptism Decor in Ottawa

Celebrations We Style

Traditions styled with real care.

Sparkle Events styles and decorates henna and mehndi nights across Ottawa and the surrounding area: a themed backdrop or stage, a raised seating area built around the procession rather than a formal dinner layout, and a favours table of keepsakes guests take home. Aqiqah, baptism, first communion, Eid and Ramadan celebrations are styled the same way, each built around the specific tradition rather than a reused wedding template.

Henna nights, aqiqa, baptisms, Ramadan and Eid. We bring genuine experience styling multicultural and family celebrations, with the details and keepsakes that matter to your traditions.

What's included in henna and cultural night decor?

A themed backdrop or stage area for the couple or the person being celebrated, henna-specific styling such as cushions and a raised seating area for the procession, and a favours table stocked with the keepsakes guests actually take home. For aqiqah, baptism, Eid and Ramadan celebrations, the same approach applies, with decor built around the specific tradition rather than a generic template.

How is styling a henna night different from a wedding reception?

A henna night centres on the procession and the seating for the couple or celebrant, not a formal dinner layout, so the room is built around movement, music and a raised or spotlighted seat rather than rows of tables. We bring that distinction into the design rather than reusing a wedding-reception plan with different colours, because the two events are genuinely shaped differently.

What favours and keepsakes do you offer for henna and cultural nights?

Real, priced pieces guests take home: mini coffeepot (dallah) favours at $5, mini incense burners (mabkhara) at $5.50, henna handkerchiefs for the zaffa dance at $6, and mini clay jars finished with ribbon and coin trim at $7.90. Each can be added individually to a quote alongside the decor, or ordered as favours on their own.

Do you also style Eid, Ramadan, aqiqah and baptism celebrations?

Yes. These are a genuine specialty rather than an afterthought bolted onto a wedding template: Ramadan and Eid styling, aqiqah and naming-day decor, and baptism and first-communion setups, each with its own real photography in our portfolio rather than a stock stand-in. Tell us which tradition and celebration you are planning and we build the decor around what that occasion actually calls for.

Favours for henna and cultural nights

Prices are per item. Add what you need to a quote and we confirm availability for your date.

How much does henna night decor cost in Ottawa?

Full henna and cultural night styling is quoted per event, since scale varies widely between an intimate family gathering and a large procession-style celebration. Favours already have public prices, from $5 for a mini coffeepot to $7.90 for a mini clay jar, so send us the celebration size and we will itemize the rest.

Do you provide henna night favours guests can take home?

Yes. Henna handkerchiefs for the dance, mini clay jars, miniature coffeepots and incense burners are all real, priced pieces guests keep, from $5 to $7.90. They can be ordered as favours on their own or added to a full styling quote.

Can you style Eid or Ramadan events, not just henna nights?

Yes. Cultural and faith celebrations, henna nights, aqiqah, baptisms, Eid and Ramadan, are a real specialty of ours, each styled around what that specific tradition calls for rather than one template reused across all of them.

How far ahead should we book a henna or cultural celebration?

The earlier the better for peak dates, particularly during Ramadan and the weeks around Eid when bookings concentrate. Smaller or less time-sensitive celebrations have more flexibility. If your date is close, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
