The short answer
A backdrop wall of vertical fluted panelling in a natural cream tone, built as a stepped run rather than one continuous face: a tall square section, a folded return standing proud of it, and a lower section whose top edge falls away on a diagonal. Raised white lettering sits across the tall section. Our catalogue records neither its size nor how it is supported, so send us the room and we will confirm both before you plan around it.
What we can tell you
- Form
- A stepped run of vertical fluted panels: a tall square section, one folded return standing proud of it, and a lower section with an angled top edge
- Finish
- Natural cream. Our other fluted backdrop is photographed in white and is a separate piece. No further colour is recorded in our catalogue. Ask
- Lettering
- Raised white lettering across the tall section, Arabic in the piece photographed. How it is applied, and whether it can be changed for your event, is not recorded. Ask
- Florals
- Tall arrangements in blush, cream and burgundy with cherry blossom flank it at both sides and bank down to the floor. Whether they are included or priced separately is not recorded. Ask
- Photographed with
- Our Three Tire Table in a matching cream finish stands in front of it. That is a separate piece in our catalogue and is quoted separately. The pillar candles on the floor are not part of either
- Setting
- Indoors. Our photograph is on wood-look plank flooring, set against a wall with windows above it
- Dimensions
- Not recorded in our catalogue. Ask and we will confirm before you commit to a wall or an alcove
- Support
- Not recorded. Our photograph shows it set against a wall rather than standing free. Ask us how it would be supported in your venue
A stepped wall covers more room than a single panel
This is the wider of our two fluted backdrops and it works differently. Rather than one curved face, it is a run: a tall square section holding the lettering, a folded return that turns a corner and catches the light on its own, and a lower section that drops away on a diagonal. The effect is that the wall has a shape rather than an edge, and the eye is carried from the tall side down to the low one. It suits a broad wall where a single panel would look marooned.
The table in the photograph is a separate piece
The cream tiered display standing in front of the panelling is our Three Tire Table, finished to match. It is listed and priced on its own in this catalogue, and it is not included here. We are saying so plainly because the two were photographed together and finished in the same tone, which is exactly the pairing a customer would reasonably assume comes as one. If you want the look in that photograph, it is two bookings, and we will quote both.
The lettering is the part to settle first
The piece photographed carries a name in raised white Arabic lettering across the tall section, and that is what makes it read as built for one family rather than hired for an evening. Whether the lettering can be changed for your event, and in which scripts, is not something our catalogue records, so it is the first thing to ask us rather than the last. We work in English and in Arabic, and the spelling has to be final earlier than the rest of your decor does.
What we cannot tell you from the catalogue
Its height, its width, how many panels the run is made from, and how it is braced are all unrecorded here, and we are not going to estimate any of them off a photograph. What we can do is confirm them against your venue once we know the room. Send us the wall you are picturing, the ceiling height and the access, and we will tell you whether the full run fits or whether the single curved panel is the better answer for that space.

Questions people ask about this
- Do you deliver and set this up, or do I collect it?
- We deliver it, set it up before your guests arrive, and come back to collect it afterwards. Nothing in the rental collection is a self-collect item, because most of these pieces need two people and a van, and a statement chair or a dessert table arriving damaged in the back of a car is nobody's idea of a saving. Delivery is quoted with the piece rather than added afterwards.
- How far in advance should I book it?
- Popular weekends go earliest, and single pieces like statement seating and cake tables exist once, not in multiples, so a date is either free or it is not. A week or two is comfortable for most dates and peak Saturdays fill well before that. Ask anyway if your date is soon: we will tell you honestly what is still available rather than holding you while we check.
- Which areas around Ottawa do you deliver to?
- Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester, Nepean and Gatineau, from the studio at 99 Ralph Erfle Wy in Nepean. Addresses further out are usually still possible and are quoted on the drive rather than refused. Tell us the venue with your date and we will confirm before you book.
