The short answer

It is built for one tiered cake in the middle of it, and the heart is only visible when nothing is stacked in front, so keep the floor around it clear.

The heart is at floor level, so it needs air around it
Most cake tables are judged by the top. This one is judged by the base: a gold heart, mirror-finished, that catches the room's light from the floor up. That works only if the eye can reach it. Florals banked in front of it, a favour cart parked beside it or a crowd of guests at cake-cutting all hide the one thing the piece was chosen for, so place it where there is clear floor on the side the camera will face.
The crystal fringe is the second thing it does
The drops hang just below the rim and move slightly, which is why the table photographs well in video as well as in stills. They also mean the top is a fixed size: nothing can overhang the edge without pushing the fringe, so a very wide bottom tier or a cake board larger than the glass needs checking with us first. Send us the cake's base size and we will confirm it sits cleanly.
What we set it with in the photograph
The cake, the roses on it, the candles and the little arrangement beside it are the customer's styling and the cake-maker's work, not part of the rental. The table arrives bare: pedestal, glass top and fringe. We deliver it, level it and collect it afterwards, and because the top is glass we set it and ask that it is not moved once the cake is on it.
What we cannot tell you from the catalogue
Its height, the diameter of the top and its weight are not recorded here, and we are not going to read them off a photograph. What we can do is confirm all three against your cake and your venue once you tell us the room and the size of the cake. - We deliver it, set it up before your guests arrive, and come back to collect it afterwards. Nothing in the rental collection is a self-collect item, because most of these pieces need two people and a van, and a statement chair or a dessert table arriving damaged in the back of a car is nobody's idea of a saving. Delivery is quoted with the piece rather than added afterwards.
- How far in advance should I book it?
- Popular weekends go earliest, and single pieces like statement seating and cake tables exist once, not in multiples, so a date is either free or it is not. A week or two is comfortable for most dates and peak Saturdays fill well before that. Ask anyway if your date is soon: we will tell you honestly what is still available rather than holding you while we check.
