The short answer
Gold spheres with a mirror finish, grouped in a range of sizes rather than used singly. They rest on the floor at the foot of a stage and sit into the top corners of a draped backdrop, so what they cost you is floor space rather than ceiling height. Diameters are not recorded in our catalogue, so ask us and we will confirm before you plan a footprint around them.

What a mirror finish actually does in a room
These are not matte balloons in a gold colour. The surface is reflective, so each one carries a compressed picture of the whole room across it: the ceiling lights, the drape behind, the people standing in front. That is why they photograph well and why they change completely depending on the lighting you have. Under warm uplighting they read as brass. Under a cool white wash they read closer to silver. If you already know how the room will be lit, tell us, because it decides how these will look far more than the colour name does.
They take floor, not ceiling
This is the practical difference between these and every other oversized balloon we do. They stand, so they need a patch of floor beside the stage that nobody has to walk through, and the largest of them takes real space. Nothing hangs, nothing needs a rigging point, and no ceiling height is involved. If your venue has a low ceiling or forbids anything being attached overhead, that constraint does not touch this piece at all. What does touch it is a tight floor plan and a fire route.
Most of that photograph is not this piece
Our only photograph of the orbs is a full stage build: black and gold draping, white floral arrangements, pillar candles, a riser and the venue's own sound equipment. The orbs are the subject and they are unmistakable in the frame, but the rest is either quoted separately or belongs to the room. We are saying so here rather than letting the photograph imply a package, because that is the sort of assumption that turns into a disappointed customer on the day.

- Is this rented or built for my event?
- Built. This is an installation rather than a rental, so it is made for your date in your colours, put up on site, and not collected afterwards: it is yours for the day. That is the practical difference between hiring a piece of furniture and commissioning decor, and it is why the quote covers design and install rather than a return trip.
- Can you match my colours exactly?
- We match to your palette instead of working from a fixed set of shades, and that is most of the difference between decor that looks designed and decor that looks like it came from a party aisle. Speciality shades get ordered in for your date, so colour-matched work needs more notice than people expect. Send a photo or a colour reference with your date.
- How much notice do you need?
- More than a rental needs, because materials get ordered for your specific colours before anything is built. A week or two is comfortable for most designs and peak weekends fill earlier. If your date is soon, ask anyway: we will tell you what is achievable with what is already in stock instead of promising a palette we cannot source in time.
