The short answer
A floor-standing birthday bouquet where the foil shapes carry the party's theme. Both of ours have a large foil number for the age, the birthday child's name in gold foil script across the top, and themed foils gathered round the number, all rising out of a dense base of latex balloons. One is pink and fuchsia around a pale pink 3, with polka-dot character foils and a pink star. The other sets a gold 7 among a mermaid tail, two smiling starfish and an octopus, over purple, teal and pink.

The theme is in the foils
Both bouquets are built the same way: base, number, name, then the themed foils. The foils change from party to party, and they are what tells a guest at the door which party they have walked into. The base follows them. Under the mermaid, the latex picks up the purple and teal of the tail.

Our Balloon Bouquet has the same shape without a theme, a number or a name over latex in two or three colours. Choose this one when the party already has a theme and you want the balloons to repeat it.

- Built. This is an installation rather than a rental, so it is made for your date in your colours, put up on site, and not collected afterwards: it is yours for the day. That is the practical difference between hiring a piece of furniture and commissioning decor, and it is why the quote covers design and install rather than a return trip.
- Can you match my colours exactly?
- We match to your palette instead of working from a fixed set of shades, and that is most of the difference between decor that looks designed and decor that looks like it came from a party aisle. Speciality shades get ordered in for your date, so colour-matched work needs more notice than people expect. Send a photo or a colour reference with your date.
- How much notice do you need?
- More than a rental needs, because materials get ordered for your specific colours before anything is built. A week or two is comfortable for most designs and peak weekends fill earlier. If your date is soon, ask anyway: we will tell you what is achievable with what is already in stock instead of promising a palette we cannot source in time.
