Built. This is an installation rather than a rental, so it is made for your date in your colours, put up on site, and not collected afterwards: it is yours for the day. That is the practical difference between hiring a piece of furniture and commissioning decor, and it is why the quote covers design and install rather than a return trip.

Can you match my colours exactly?

We match to your palette instead of working from a fixed set of shades, and that is most of the difference between decor that looks designed and decor that looks like it came from a party aisle. Speciality shades get ordered in for your date, so colour-matched work needs more notice than people expect. Send a photo or a colour reference with your date.

How much notice do you need?

More than a rental needs, because materials get ordered for your specific colours before anything is built. A week or two is comfortable for most designs and peak weekends fill earlier. If your date is soon, ask anyway: we will tell you what is achievable with what is already in stock instead of promising a palette we cannot source in time.

The short answer

Two upright columns of balloons, one either side of an opening, each topped with a single large balloon. Ours are built in the colours you give us: the pair in our photograph is light blue, white, chrome silver and gold with metallic stars and coils worked in. They mark the way into a room, which is why they stand at doors and stages rather than in the middle of a floor.

They come as a pair for a reason

A single column is a decoration. Two, one either side of an opening, are a doorway, and guests walk between them without being told to. That is the job they do at a birthday, a graduation or a corporate open house: they say where the event starts. Book them for the entrance first and think about the rest of the balloon work after.

Built to the palette, on site

Balloon work is not stock. We build each column for the event in the colours you choose, so the pair in the photograph is one answer and not the only one. Give us two or three colours and say whether you want chrome and metallic in the mix or matte throughout, and we will build to that. The large topper balloon is where a colour or a finish reads loudest, so choose that one deliberately.

Setup and what happens afterwards

We build and place them on the day and take them down afterwards. Tell us your load-in window, because a pair of columns is built where it stands and needs the doorway clear while that happens, and tell us if the venue wants them gone at a fixed time.

What we cannot tell you from the catalogue

Their height, how long they hold their shape, and whether they suit an outdoor entrance are not recorded here and depend on your venue. Ask, and we will answer against the room rather than in general.
